“We do not recommend putting any kind of foreign substance in small fish bowls or aquariums. Fish are very delicate, and it is very easy to disrupt their fragile environment. Many Anaflora clients have reported excellent result simply from placing a small bowl of water containing flower essences where the water containing the essences can evaporate slowly over time, usually near and slightly above the fish bowl or aquarium. For outdoor pond fish (koi), follow the directions for diluting the essences for birds, then use a spray bottle to lightly mist the air over the water once weekly.
Because fish are delicate and vibrationally very sensitive, they respond positively to our intentions to help them and to heal them. Placing essences and other sacred objects within their view is often all that is necessary.”
Additional Notes from Elizabeth:
Taking the essence with your fish, if you’re willing to do so, is the best approach as it will harmonize your energies as healing takes place. You should just drop 3-5 drops under your tongue daily, trying not to touch your tongue to the dropper so as not to contaminate the bottle. The essence can be taken by all the animals in a multi-animal household and will have the effect of harmonizing the energy of all the beings in the household. The essences can do no harm and contain only the virtues of the various plants from which they are made. Therefore, they are beneficial for everyone in the household, in addition to the animal or fish being treated.
If you can connect with your wishes for your fish (and yourself if you take it as well) to heal as you give him the essence, that would be great. If you have a spiritual tradition that is meaningful to you, you can use something from that tradition, such as a brief prayer or blessing, as well as you give the essences, if you like.
